This course is presently delivered by Confetti, with teaching transitioning to the Nottingham School of Art & Design (NSA&D) from September 2025; however, the curriculum and learning outcomes will remain unchanged. Event management involves meticulous planning, extended hours, stakeholder coordination, and navigating unforeseen challenges, culminating in the satisfaction of successful events for thousands of attendees. It demands resilience, as evidenced by Confetti's ongoing expertise in the field.Students will gain hands-on experience through industry partnerships, utilizing Confetti's commercial venues to manage diverse events such as music gigs, theatre, festivals, esports, and corporate gatherings. Collaborating with entities like Rough Trade and the BBC, learners will benefit from insights during Industry Week and guest lectures, working alongside performers, engineers, and specialists. Key modules in Year 1 include Live Event Practice, Marketing and Promotion, The Event Industry, and Event Business Administration, focusing on practical skills in design, marketing, trends, and administration.
