Our Master of Engineering (MEng) in Civil Engineering integrates undergraduate and master's-level content, fostering comprehensive knowledge of principles and theory, plus analytical, practical, and engineering skills. The curriculum enhances expertise in architectural and building technology, sustainability, health and safety, CAD, hydraulics, ground and structural engineering, and strategic management, with a strong emphasis on creativity and innovation.Key features include the direct route to Chartered Engineer (CEng) status; hands-on learning in specialist labs for concrete, materials, hydraulics, geotechnics, and structural testing; and an optional one-year placement with firms like VolkerFitzpatrick, BAM Nuttall, and Buckingham Group.
