Zoology involves the scientific exploration of all animal life, examining their behavior, reproduction, evolution, and interactions with other species and the environment. In the first year, students undertake core biology modules to establish a strong foundation. Later stages focus on specialized topics, including animal behavior and physiology, biodiversity and conservation, vertebrate biology, and entomology. Students will also participate in field courses for bird and insect identification, plus a week-long, project-based residential field course.
