This degree emphasizes nutrition and health-related disciplines, enabling students to acquire knowledge through theoretical study and practical work-based learning. As the first undergraduate Dietetics program in the North East, it offers a unique opportunity to examine the connections between nutrition and health via core biomedical topics, including biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology, microbiology and molecular genetics, human nutrition, and food science.Students will also develop hands-on skills in our advanced laboratories and the new clinical skills and teaching kitchen, set to open in 2020.
