This innovative degree provides a fast-track route to becoming a chartered accountant, enabling full qualification in just over a year after graduation. Developed through a partnership between Newcastle University, PwC, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), it combines rigorous academic study with professional exams and more than 200 days of paid work experience.The curriculum includes sample modules such as Introduction to Financial Accounting, Introduction to Management Accounting and Finance, The Financial Environment, Introductory Quantitative Methods and Principles of Taxation, Introductory Economics, and Introduction to Business Law.
