Our Product Design Engineering course integrates design principles, ergonomics, engineering science, and technology with manufacturing processes to develop innovative, functional products for competitive markets. It emphasizes aesthetics, functionality, quality, and cost-effectiveness, leveraging new tools, materials, and processes to maximize ideas. Graduates gain versatile design skills combined with engineering knowledge, enabling them to create profitable products.The MEng program targets ambitious students seeking leadership roles and Chartered Engineer status, while sharing the first two years with the BEng for core skills in design and manufacturing. It diverges in years three and four with advanced technical depth, managerial challenges, and multi-disciplinary projects. Assessment involves coursework (30-50%), exams, reports, and presentations, preparing students for industry careers.
