Product Design Engineering, BEng (Hons)

Our Product Design Engineering course integrates design principles, ergonomics, engineering science, and technology with manufacturing processes to develop innovative, functional products for competitive markets. It emphasizes aesthetics, functionality, quality, and cost-effectiveness, leveraging new tools, materials, and processes to maximize innovation. This approach equips graduates with versatile design skills and engineering knowledge, enabling them to create profitable products across various industries.The BEng and MEng programs share the first two years, building core design and manufacturing competencies. The MEng then diverges with advanced technical, strategic, and managerial training in years three and four, while high-performing BEng students may transfer to the MEng pathway.
