Our BSc in Physics with Theoretical Physics emphasizes the formulation and solution of physical problems through mathematics and computing. It integrates core physics with applied mathematics modules, including topics like probability theory and differential geometry, to develop skills for theoretical thinking and advancing physics fundamentals.In contrast, our MPhys programmes provide a competitive advantage in employment by offering advanced content and an extended research project, fostering deep exploration and contributions to knowledge. Ideal for careers requiring strong research skills, MPhys fully meets requirements for Chartered Physicist and Chartered Scientist status, while BSc only partially fulfills them.
