With an extensive range of optional modules, you can tailor the course to your interests and career goals, split evenly between history and politics.The history component covers 1600 to the present, emphasizing the modern era across Britain, Europe, North America, the British Empire, Soviet Russia, South Asia, Australia, and China. It progresses from broad surveys to country/theme histories and specialist case studies. The politics component develops critical analysis of contemporary issues, actors, and institutions, exploring domestic and international mechanics alongside key ideas and controversies.
