Geography with Economics, BSc (Hons)

Our BSc in Geography with Economics integrates the study of social and physical processes shaping our rapidly changing planet with foundational economics knowledge. This combined honours programme is delivered in partnership with one of the UK’s leading Schools of Business and Economics.In the first year, students explore human and physical geography to understand processes in various contexts, while gaining basic economics insights. Later years allow specialisation in human or physical geography, or a balanced approach, with one-third of the curriculum focused on economics. Optional modules build on this foundation, and skills for employment are emphasised throughout the degree. Modules are assessed via exams, coursework, or a combination thereof.
