The Natural Sciences degree provides a rigorous, interdisciplinary education, allowing students to explore multiple scientific disciplines and tailor their studies through customizable pathways. Students can combine up to three subjects from ten areas, including Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Computing, Engineering, Environmental and Earth Sciences, Geography, Mathematics, Medical Sciences, Physics, and Psychology, to align with their interests and career objectives.In the first year, students select three pathways—two sciences and one additional subject from sciences or humanities—and develop essential skills in data analysis, laboratory techniques, and more. Subsequent years offer increased specialization, with opportunities to focus on two or three subjects, undertake advanced modules, and complete a major research project or industry placement to enhance professional expertise.
