Chemical Engineers innovate materials and technologies for the future, designing and developing processes for essential products. At the Master's level, this programme builds expertise in chemistry, engineering, management, and leadership through an accredited curriculum that begins with a shared first year across engineering disciplines. This foundation emphasises teamwork, communication, and core topics like design, materials, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and mathematics, while fostering problem-solving and leadership skills.After the first year, students can specialise in Chemical Engineering or other areas and spend their second year at a partner university in Europe, the USA, or Australia, gaining international perspectives that contribute to their degree. Returning for the third year, they engage in specialist modules and a group design project addressing economic, safety, and ethical considerations. The fourth year advances knowledge through in-depth topics and an impactful individual project. The programme is accredited by the Institution of Chemical Engineers, aligned with the CDIO framework, and delivered by leading academics with access to state-of-the-art facilities.
