Our BA Economics with Management expands on the core Economics degree. Alongside the fundamental theories and techniques of Economics, you’ll study selected modules in finance, business, accounting and management. Tailoring your degree in this way will help give you the knowledge and skills to support a career in your particular area of interest.Year 1Economics with Management expands the core of the Economics degree to include one further compulsory management module and a further optional module which could be from another department, including a foreign languageYear 2In the second year, you study five compulsory modules investigating the core issues in Economics and Management, and you will be able to choose you will be able to choose one further optional module which could include a foreign language or one module from another department.Year 3In the third year, you submit a Dissertation (a compulsory double module). The Dissertation module allows you to analyse, in great depth, your choice of research question in Economics. In addition you study one compulsory module in Management. You then choose a further two optional Economics modules and one Management option.
