About the course

From September 2025, this course will use the new code HU04; apply with this code if starting then. As a diagnostic radiographer, you will support medical diagnoses and treatments through imaging techniques like radiography, CT, MRI, RNI, and ultrasound. You'll study anatomy, physiology, medical physics, and radiographic methods, applying them via simulations and clinical placements in diverse settings, while developing teamwork and professional skills. The program includes modules on professional practice, imaging science, and placements, leading to qualifications recognized by the HCPC and SoR, with potential for UK and international careers. Home students may access government funding up to £5,000 annually, plus childcare support.This course fosters a strong professional identity through advanced technology and communication skills, preparing you for patient-centered care. Highlights include access to specialized facilities, an elective placement, and development of digital and cultural competence.
