About the course

The human body is a complex system, and this course equips aspiring physiotherapists to address movement challenges by applying scientific principles and patient assessments to enhance physical well-being and optimise performance for athletes. Brunel's hands-on Physiotherapy program utilises a purpose-built facility that mimics real clinical environments, allowing students to gain practical skills through interactions with patients and peers. Placements begin in the second year, providing immersive experiences to build confidence and expertise. The curriculum covers specialised modules such as Musculoskeletal Lower Quadrant, Pathophysiology, and Respiratory, while teaching skills in symptom analysis, treatment planning, and outcome evaluation. Assessment includes written exams, practical vivas, assignments, and placement evaluations. Graduates benefit from strong employment outcomes, with 100% in work or further study six months post-graduation, and the course is accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
