The Brunel Law LLB offers a qualifying law degree that provides a comprehensive understanding of English law, including its underlying theories and principles. Students develop essential research, analytical, and communication skills for a successful legal career, with options for a three-year full-time program or a four-year version including a professional placement between years two and three. The final year can be customized to focus on specific areas of interest, and dedicated careers advisers provide guidance on placements, career paths, and further study.From 1 September 2021, aspiring solicitors must complete a degree and pass the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) Parts 1 and 2, with the Brunel LLB delivering the core subjects required. A transitional period allows eligible students to choose between the traditional QLD route or SQE route. For barristers, the program covers foundational legal knowledge. Graduates possess transferable skills, making them highly employable in legal and other fields. Typical modules include Public Law and Legal Skills, Criminal Law and Justice Systems, Contract Law and Civil Justice Systems, and Academic and Professional Development.
