Brunel University's Electronic and Electrical Engineering (Communication Systems) BEng programme equips students with essential knowledge and skills for careers in electronic and electrical engineering, with a focus on digital communication systems. It builds foundational expertise in areas such as design, structures, materials, fluid mechanics, electronics, mathematics, and technical drawing, while providing in-depth specialisation in communication systems. Students gain hands-on experience through access to modern facilities, including computer, electronics, power, and control laboratories, as well as industry-standard software packages.The course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), fulfilling the academic requirements for Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status. It can be studied full-time over three years or four years with a placement.
