Brunel's BEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) is a contemporary programme designed to equip students with essential knowledge and skills for careers and research in electronic and electrical engineering, with a focus on AI applications. It covers key concepts in intelligent processing systems, software applications, system implementation, and evaluation of biologically inspired engineering solutions vital for current and future demands. Students gain a solid foundation in core engineering disciplines—including design, structures, materials, fluid mechanics, electronics, mathematics, and technical drawing—alongside in-depth expertise in AI principles and EEE techniques.Access to state-of-the-art facilities, such as computer, electronics, power, and control laboratories, plus industry-standard software in dedicated clusters, supports hands-on experimentation. Accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the degree meets academic requirements for Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status and can be completed full-time in three years or four with a placement year, which we strongly encourage for invaluable industry experience.
