Brunel University's Electronic and Electrical Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) BEng programme equips students with essential knowledge and skills for careers in engineering, emphasising AI applications. It develops key concepts in intelligent processing systems, software applications, and biologically inspired engineering, while covering fundamental subjects such as design, structures, materials, fluid mechanics, electronics, and mathematics. Students gain in-depth expertise in AI principles and engineering techniques, with access to modern facilities including computer, electronics, and control laboratories, as well as industry-standard software.The course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), fulfilling academic requirements for Incorporated Engineer status. It can be studied full-time over three years or four years with a placement. Typical modules include Digital Systems Design and Reliability Engineering, Artificial Intelligence Systems, Signals and Systems, and Robotics and Control Systems.
