The Brunel BSc in Economics and Management equips students pursuing management careers with a thorough understanding of economic systems and corporate operations. Students will explore resource allocation driven by consumer demand, business objectives, and government policies, alongside aligning incentives among shareholders, managers, and employees. Economics modules provide insights into production, distribution, and capital formation, while management components emphasize coordinating materials and labour to meet organizational goals. The curriculum also covers econometrics, data modelling, and training in industry-standard tools such as SAS, EViews, Bloomberg, Reuters, and STATA.Two study options are available: a three-year full-time program or a four-year version with a professional placement between years two and three, allowing practical application of theoretical concepts. Accredited by ACCA and CIMA, the degree offers exemptions from certain professional exams, positioning graduates as competitive candidates for roles in business, finance, and government amid global market integration.
