Specialising in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) at Brunel equips you with skills to understand user experience (UX) and design systems that effectively meet user needs. Through a blend of theoretical learning and practical application, you will evaluate organisational challenges, implement solutions, and adapt information systems to support efficient business operations amid growth and change. Key modules cover software development, usability engineering, process modelling, e-business, social media, and Web 2.0 technologies, with flexible options to select pathways and transfer between Computer Science and Business Computing up to Year 2.The programme emphasises project-based work, with one-third of each year dedicated to team and individual projects, culminating in showcases at events like Made in Brunel.
