Taught by boomsatsuma at Tobacco Factory in Bristol.Our exciting Filmmaking Production course offers a new dynamic approach to industry-engaged filmmaking education, and has been co-designed with industry partners to teach the specific skills employers are looking for, while supporting and developing your creative identity. You’ll explore the entire filmmaking process from pre-production to on-set production and develop a fundamental understanding of key post-production skills in your first year.Our partnerships with BBC Factual and The Bottle Yard Studios mean you’ll get valuable, ongoing work experience opportunities, guest speakers and departmental site visits. Industry professionals will train you in using various equipment, and you’ll also be able to access kit across the studio spaces, on set projects and for your independent work.Alongside the practical, theoretical and technical skills you will learn, there will be considerable focus on collaboration, communication, soft skills and professional working.BA (Hons) Filmmaking is taught at boomsatsuma in Bristol, which became a UNESCO City of Film in 2017 due to its extensive production and media culture in television and film.
