Created with leading industry partners, this course will equip you with an expanded and interdisciplinary art practice, place you in the heart of the professional world and give you the skills, knowledge and networks to start a career in this fast-paced industry.You’ll explore a wide range of skills, gaining an in-depth knowledge of photography and cinematography, along with graphic and interactive design, 3D imaging, photobook making and virtual reality sequences - all of which will boost your employability within the industry. You’ll learn how to think critically and articulate independent ideas through making work, as you engage with theories of art, representation and culture.More about the Professional Placement YearA Professional Placement Year (PPY), traditionally known as a sandwich year, is where you undertake a period of work with an external organisation for between 9-13 months. The placement occurs between your second and final years of undergraduate study. You can engage in up to 3 placements to make up the total time and are required to source the placement(s) yourself, with support from the Careers team.
