About the course

If you are fascinated by human behaviour and wish to contribute to a safer society, consider the Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice. This degree examines how social, psychological and economic factors shape crime, while developing skills to analyse data, identify patterns and design prevention strategies. Students explore the causes and impacts of criminal behaviour, the processes of investigation and prosecution, and the influence of cultural, political and structural factors on laws and punishments. Coursework spans criminology, law and sociology, addressing inequalities, innovative responses to offending, globalisation and digital technologies. Graduates gain research and critical thinking expertise through practical or research internships, preparing them for roles in crime analysis, policy, community advocacy, corrections, victim support and youth justice, or further research degrees.

What you will learn
