The BA in International Relations at XJTLU aims to enhance students' knowledge and understanding, developing future entrepreneurial and managerial leaders who will connect China with the global community. Through interdisciplinary study of politics, economics, and law in international affairs, the programme examines relationships among nation-states, international organisations, non-governmental organisations, and multinational corporations, while focusing on China and requiring a semester of study abroad in a chosen country.Reasons to study at XJTLU include living in China for a unique perspective on its global role, learning additional languages like Spanish or Japanese upon meeting language standards, specialising in another country with a semester there, undertaking independent research based on international experience, and earning dual degrees: one from XJTLU recognised by the Chinese Ministry of Education and another from the University of Liverpool, a prestigious Russell Group institution.
