Mechanical Engineering with Robotics, MEng (Hons), with industry placement

According to the Research Excellence Framework 2021, 87.9% of our Engineering research outputs are rated as world-leading or internationally excellent.The Master of Engineering (MEng) programme allows specialisation in robotics and mechanical engineering, meeting the criteria for Chartered Engineer status. Students will develop expertise in robotics, gain practical skills in mechanical systems, and enhance employability across sectors like automation, automotive, aerospace, and renewable energy. Opportunities include industry placements, supported by dedicated advisers and mentors, alongside access to advanced facilities for robot construction, embedded systems programming, and computer modelling. Based on cutting-edge research, the course is delivered in state-of-the-art laboratories at our green campus near Brighton & Hove, close to the South Downs and major transport links.
