Biomedical Science, BSc (Hons)

Our Biomedical Science course plays a pivotal role in advancing medical breakthroughs, offering hands-on practical experience from the first year in state-of-the-art labs, including anatomy classes with real human specimens. The flexible programme allows students to customise their studies around interests such as cancer, infectious diseases, vaccine development, and genomics, while developing essential skills in analysis, problem-solving, and communication through lectures, workshops, and research-led teaching by renowned experts.Students benefit from a supportive community in the School of Life Sciences and collaborations with Brighton & Sussex Medical School, including a guaranteed interview for Medicine upon meeting criteria.
