About the course

The Surrey Space Centre, having pioneered the small satellite industry over 40 years ago, designs and builds innovative commercial satellites for orbit. This provides a unique opportunity for students in our BEng and MEng Astronautics and Space Engineering courses to learn from leading academics at the forefront of space engineering. Additionally, a Professional Training placement is available, offering excellent preparation for technology-focused careers. In these programs, you will apply knowledge through project-based work, collaborating with Surrey Space Centre academics to gain practical experience in space mission technologies. You can pursue either a BEng or MEng; the MEng extends the BEng with an additional master's year for a direct qualification path. Depending on progress, switching between programs is possible during studies.
