This course supports individuals throughout their journey from conception to birth and beyond, equipping you with comprehensive skills and knowledge in pregnancy, labour, birth, and early parenthood. Upon completion, you will qualify to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Registered Midwife, with up to five years to finish the program.Midwifery is a rewarding, dynamic profession focused on ensuring safe, positive experiences during pregnancy, labour, and the postpartum period, while promoting optimal outcomes for newborns and families. Emphasizing a person-centered approach through a biopsychosocial model, the curriculum addresses health inequalities, mental health in maternity, and evidence-based practices. Half of the course involves clinical placements, preparing you to deliver high-quality care.
