This programme equips students with the essential knowledge and skills to become a registered nurse, focusing on modules in professional and nursing practice. Participants will develop effective communication abilities with children, young people, and their families, ultimately graduating with the qualifications required to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Registered Nurse (Children).The BSc (Hons) in Children's and Young People's Nursing Practice offers a blend of academic and vocational training, delivered by an expert team to build confidence and competence in paediatric care. Students will explore key theoretical concepts while gaining practical experience through placements with local health and social care providers, which constitute 50% of the course. Upon successful completion, graduates are eligible to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Registered Nurse (Children).
