You can work towards one of four degree titles, each providing a thorough understanding of human health and disease.Biomedical Science focuses on scientific investigation into bodily functions and diseases. Applied Biomedical Science mirrors this content but includes a 40-week NHS laboratory placement for IBMS portfolio completion and HCPC registration eligibility. Biomedical Science (sandwich) adds an industry placement year, while Healthcare Science (Life Sciences) incorporates clinical placements in specialized areas like Blood Sciences, leading to professional registration upon graduation.
