About the course

Our comprehensive LLB programme is designed to equip aspiring legal professionals with in-depth legal knowledge while fostering global perspectives through a year abroad at partner institutions in countries like Australia, Canada, and Singapore. Spanning four years, it covers core law subjects in the first two years, followed by overseas study—often in English—with options for language preparation. Students return for their final year to select modules and complete a dissertation, alongside opportunities for employability skills through work experience, such as shadowing judiciary members, participating in law clinics, and engaging in competitions like mooting. The programme emphasises practical learning via lectures, seminars, and independent study, with assessments including exams, assignments, and a dissertation. Access to excellent facilities, such as extensive library resources on topics like contract and maritime law, electronic databases (e.g., Westlaw), and a dedicated moot room, supports academic growth. Modules may include The Law of Torts and Globalisation and Law, enhancing interdisciplinary knowledge.
