About the course

This 4-year LLB programme offers a rigorous legal education, recognised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and Bar Standards Board, with an opportunity to study abroad in Europe at partner institutions such as Athens, Bergen, or Paris. In the first two years, students master core law subjects, then spend the third year immersing in a different legal system, often with modules in English. Returning for the final year, participants select optional modules, complete a dissertation, and engage in employability skills through work experience, networking, and activities like shadowing judges or participating in the Law Clinic. The course includes modules such as The Law of Torts and Commercial Conflict of Laws, assessed via exams, assignments, and dissertations. Teaching involves lectures, seminars, and interactive methods, supported by excellent facilities like comprehensive library resources, electronic databases (e.g., Westlaw), and a purpose-built moot room, fostering skills in advocacy and interdisciplinary study.
