This three-year Environmental Science degree addresses key environmental challenges through five specialist pathways: Business and the Environment, Biodiversity and Conservation, Environmental Change, Water and the Environment, and Sustainability. Students explore diverse subjects such as environmental science, geography, ecology, geology, law, and oceanography, integrating theoretical knowledge with practical projects to develop skills for tackling 21st-century issues. Graduates are well-prepared for careers in environmental management and conservation, with the program ranked 6th in the UK by The Guardian (2024) and 95% of alumni in employment or further study (Graduate Outcomes 2020/2021).Core modules include Dangerous World, Dynamic Landscapes, and Ecology & Conservation in Year 1; Introductory Geographic Information Systems and Introduction to Environmental Pollution in Year 2; and Legal & Policy Landscapes plus an individual project in Year 3, alongside optional modules. Assessment methods encompass coursework, lab reports, essays, projects, exams, and presentations, with support from academic tutors.
