Psychology and Language Sciences, BSc (Hons)

This BSc in Psychology and Language Sciences offers an in-depth exploration of the human mind, language development, and associated disorders. Accredited by the British Psychological Society, the program prepares students for advanced training as professional psychologists. Faculty conduct world-class research in linguistics, language development, pathology, and bilingualism, directly enriching student learning. Notably, 92% of students in the School of Psychology and Clinical Language Sciences rated teaching staff as good or very good at explaining concepts, based on the 2023 National Student Survey.Core modules for 2025/26, subject to final approval, include Debates in Mental Health, Introduction to Psychological Research, Learning about Learning, The Person and the Brain, and Cognitive and Biological Psychology.
