The BA Primary Education with English Specialism (QTS) equips students with the confidence to inspire primary school pupils' passion for English while enhancing their own literary knowledge. This programme introduces a variety of children's literature to foster reading for pleasure within the primary curriculum, exploring texts such as heritage works, contemporary fiction, and media. Participants will evaluate the influence of stories and poetry on children's literacy development and examine how these materials shape teaching approaches in the classroom.
