Ancient History and Archaeology, BA (Hons)

Discover the enduring legacy of ancient Greco-Roman cultures through our BA in Ancient History and Archaeology at the University of Reading. Notably, the University ranks in the top 100 globally for Archaeology (QS World Rankings by Subject, 2024).Core modules include Archaeology Today: Methods and Practice; Early Empires: Mesopotamia, Egypt, and Rome; Greek History: War, Society, and Change in the Archaic Age; and Roman History: The Rise and Fall of the Republic. These have been provisionally approved for 2025/26, subject to final university confirmation and potential changes.
