About the course

Physiotherapy is a hands-on healthcare profession employing physical approaches to promote, maintain, and restore physical, psychological, and social wellbeing. Our innovative, enquiry-based curriculum utilises real clinical scenarios across diverse settings—from neurological rehabilitation and acute respiratory care to sports—fostering clinical reasoning through independent and small-group learning.Benefit from extensive placements in acute hospitals, community settings, sports clubs, and the Armed Forces, including a first-year full placement contributing to degree classification. Gain extracurricular experience at pop-up clinics, engage in international research-informed practice, and train in the purpose-built InterCity Place. Graduates secure roles in the NHS, private practice, armed forces, or sports, locally or internationally, and qualify for Health and Care Professions Council registration and full Chartered Society of Physiotherapy membership. Note: Completion requires specified placement hours alongside theory; holidays are limited to designated periods, with full attendance mandatory, including induction.
