By integrating chemical and environmental engineering, this course trains students to design processes and products that minimize impacts on air, land, and water. Graduates will work in key areas such as waste disposal, environmental compliance to reduce spills and emissions, flooding and drainage, infrastructure development, pollutant management, recovery of land damaged by mining or farming, and water supply and sanitation. They will also engage in sectors like food, energy, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, and oil and gas.The program builds engineering expertise and professional skills, including project management, business management, finance, analytics, and teamwork. Students can pursue a one-year paid industrial placement or study abroad opportunities. Accredited by the Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) and IOM3 under the UK Engineering Council, the degree meets professional standards. The curriculum covers engineering fundamentals in the first two years, an industry-focused group project in the third, and advanced specialization with a research project in the final year.
