Our BSc Honours in Sociology and Psychology examines societal structures and individual experiences, with a focus on key issues such as gender, identity, relationships, and social inequalities. The psychology component provides insights into the brain, behaviour, and cognition, including studies of perception, memory, emotion, and language development. Meanwhile, sociology explores themes like social justice, crime, deviance, and ethnicity, integrating both disciplines to analyse socio-psychological processes that influence interpersonal and societal relationships.Graduates pursue careers in youth and community work, welfare services, charitable organisations, and government roles. The programme offers modules on topics ranging from social inequalities and global relations to identity and migration, providing a strong foundation in sociological theory and psychological methods like experimentation and observation.
