Open your ears to a range of musical worlds, from music production to sound design in film, TV, music and games. Creativity is at the heart of this degree course.Informed by industry partners, this course is built and taught by leading experts from the University’s Centre for Sound-Image. The course is designed to wrap around individuals’ interests with students creating their own focus within each module.Through practical work, the course develops your creative voice and builds your technical skills in sound and music production, enabling you to pursue a career across music industries.Those studying on this course may graduate to work as a composer, sound artist, music producer, sound designer for Films, Games and TV, community music practitioner, facilitator and much more.Throughout your study you will have access to a range of facilities, including sound studios, film & TV studios, theatre, editing labs and workshop spaces and you can read more about some of these on the page below.This degree is assessed 70% through practice and 30% through written work.What you should know about this course
