Our law with criminology degree is aimed at those who want to study the main range of legal knowledge, and complement this with knowledge of the causes, consequences and prevention of crime.You will study essential areas of law, including Criminal Law and Public Law. In your final year you will be able to choose a specialist law module, such as Immigration Law or Environmental Law.You will also choose criminology modules such as Policing, Understanding Deviance, or Penology. Many of these criminology modules explore the social, cultural and political debates around crime. One module, Forensic Criminology (which is studied in place of Understanding Deviance), includes an introduction to forensic psychology and crime scene investigation.The curriculum will be complemented by a range of employability opportunities that you can apply for. These include mentor programmes with relevant organisations, assisting lawyers in our Legal Advice Centre, the Innocence Project London, our Community Street Law Project, and moots and mock trials.What you should know about this course
