Economics at Greenwich equips students with intellectual abilities and analytical tools to understand, analyse, and address contemporary challenges. We view economics as essential for building equitable prosperity, meaningful employment, and a carbon-neutral future. Responding to student and industry demands, we lead nationally in applied, real-world economics informed by history and diversity.The BSc Economics allows specialisation after the first year in finance, ESG (environmental, social, and governance), or public policy economics. Students enhance data skills using Bloomberg terminals, trading simulations, and programming, while preparing for CFA Climate and Investing or ESG Investing certifications. Studying at our UNESCO World Heritage Greenwich campus in London, graduates secure roles in industry, finance, civil service, NGOs, research, and education.
