Criminology and Criminal Psychology, BSc (Hons)

Our BSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice equips students with a deep understanding of crime's causes, consequences, and prevention at local, national, and international levels. The program explores contemporary social, cultural, and political debates through topics such as security and terrorism, the criminology of war, policing, forensic psychology, and miscarriages of justice. It integrates major theoretical paradigms to examine social and state responses to crime, alongside criminal psychology.Graduates pursue careers in policing, prisons, security services, and civil service. This unique fusion of criminology and criminal justice does not provide British Psychological Society (BPS) accreditation.
