Business Computing, BSc (Hons)

Our business computing degree explores key business themes such as IT management, computing projects, and security challenges. Students gain insights into how computing and information systems integrate with business structures and functions, while developing skills in designing and building IT systems through database design and software development techniques. This prepares graduates for careers in IT management, support, consultancy, and project management.This practical programme addresses both technical and theoretical aspects of information systems development, management, and maintenance. It enhances academic knowledge in IT development, security, and modern business environments. The University of Greenwich maintains accreditation ties with the British Computer Society (BCS), with the course currently holding initial full CITP accreditation. Modules consist of compulsory and optional units, assessed via a mix of methods to monitor progress and determine grades.
