**Spanish:** Spanish is the world's second most widely spoken language and an official language in more than 20 countries. Staff at Glasgow cover a wide range of topics, offering opportunities to work with native speakers from diverse regions of the Spanish-speaking world.**Sociology:** Sociology examines how people organize their social lives, the constraints they face, patterns of social behaviour, and the causes and consequences of social inequalities. A distinctive feature of our programme—commended by external examiners and graduates—is the integration of sociological, criminological, and anthropological perspectives.
