Spanish / Scottish Literature, MA (Hons)

Spanish: Spanish, the second most widely spoken language worldwide and official in more than 20 countries, is covered by Glasgow staff across diverse topics. Students engage with native speakers from various Spanish-speaking regions.Scottish Literature: This field studies Scotland's poetry, drama, fiction, and prose in English and Scots, from the 14th century to contemporary works. The University hosts the UK's only academic unit dedicated exclusively to its teaching and research, including the Centre for Robert Burns Studies. Funded with over £2 million by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, the Centre is producing a new multi-volume scholarly edition of Scotland's national poet's works.
