Spanish is the second most widely spoken language globally and serves as an official language in over 20 countries. At Glasgow, faculty cover a diverse range of topics, providing opportunities to engage with native speakers from various Spanish-speaking regions.In economics, students examine how individuals and societies allocate scarce resources, determine production, and distribute goods, while evaluating costs, benefits, risks, and impacts on others. The program covers principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics, with chances to explore areas such as government policy, developing economies, business economics, and international trade and finance.
