About the course

Software Engineering focuses on developing and maintaining large-scale, complex software systems. Our programme blends theoretical computing science with modern industry principles and practices, providing practical, real-world experience.In 2017, the School of Computing Science established the innovative Centre for Computing Science Education to advance educational leadership. After year 3, BSc students complete a paid summer industry placement, while MSci students extend this to a full year.
