Scottish Literature examines Scotland's poetry, drama, fiction, and prose from the 14th century to contemporary works. The University houses the UK's only academic unit dedicated exclusively to teaching and researching Scottish literature, including the Centre for Robert Burns Studies, which is producing a new multi-volume scholarly edition of Scotland’s national poet.Theology & Religious Studies explores religion, religions, the Bible, and theology in relation to politics, history, literature, philosophy, art, culture, personal belief, and practice.
